AI for internal policy and HR answers
Can staff ask our own handbook questions?
The challenge
The same procedural questions reach a small number of people, and answers differ depending on who is asked.
Prerequisites
- A current, version-controlled handbook
The approach
- Retrieve only over approved, current policy documents with the version cited
- Refuse rather than guess where the handbook is silent, and log the gap
- Exclude anything touching individual employment decisions
- Use logged gaps as the backlog for policy improvement
What makes it work
Unanswerable questions become a documented policy backlog instead of a confident invention.
